ON LEADERSHIP

On leadership..

Leadership is defined as a process of leading and guiding. It may be a capacity or ability of how much can you influence and motivates other. It can be defined according to a situation. It's not easy being a leader. Patience and principles will be put to challenges. Leadership is sometimes in-born, most of the time--- learned. Though you're learned and skilled, you can't please everyone. Some people won't look at you the way your team did. Some will define you based on their beliefs, and your team and followers will grow and stay with you because they understands and they believe in your visions and qualities.

In an organization, leadership is one of the most important aspect of its success. Leadership initiates action: leader starts the work in a way that: "this is how we do it," not "you do it!". Leadership is a motivation. Not everyone thinks like you do. Leader must understands that there are people excels in marketing and there are people for balance sheet, for instance, and there is this Yes person. You can't say that one of them is moron just because they lack of what others have. LEADERSHIP IS A JUDGMENT BASED ON STRENGTH AND AN ENCOURAGEMENT TO RISE FROM WEAKNESSES.

Leadership provides guidance. To err is human. Instead of humiliate them---- help them to do better the next time. We are all deserve second chances. Leadership is coordination. A unit or a team is composed of different individuals bearing different characteristics, synchronizing that differences is what builds work environment of efficient, effective and productive team. Coordination is understanding differences, work harmoniously despite of it towards achieving goals. Leadership creates confidence. May be you can make someone move, but where it leads? It is important that you as a leader encourage your team members to speak their minds, you have to hear their sides and you clarify yours. An apparent conversation regarding their roles and obligations builds morales. It's like: "thanks for enlighten me, I now know what to do" things. Listening to them builds respect. Enlightening them is showing them that they can count on you. Gaining their trust and loyalty in your leadership is ensuring the accomplishment of the objectives.

Because leadership provides direction. It models good examples and molding a more responsible people. It aligns steps on fulfilling certain goals, it builds excellent values, it uplifts morales, it refines the essence of reliability, it empowers.. and bringing out the best of everyone involved.
